This policy explains how credits are bought, granted, spent and refunded in Brandometer at https://brandometer.ai (the “service”). The service is operated by: Individual entrepreneur Vladislav Ivanov (IP Ivanov Vladislav Aleksandrovich) · INN 781698861800 · OGRNIP 324784700366200 (“we”, “us”). The policy is part of the Terms of Service.

1. What a credit is

1.1. A credit is the internal unit of account of the service. Credits measure how much of the service you use: checks of brand visibility in AI answers and related operations.

1.2. Credits are not money, electronic money, a currency, a security or any other financial instrument. They earn no interest. They cannot be transferred to other users or third parties, moved between accounts, sold or given away.

1.3. One check — one answer of one AI engine to one prompt — costs a number of credits that depends on the engine and the model. The cost of a check for every engine and model is published on the pricing page and in your account. We may change it; a change does not affect checks that are already completed.

1.4. The balance is kept to one decimal place.

2. Buying credits

2.1. The price of a credit depends on the amount of a single top-up: the larger the amount, the lower the price. On the date of this policy the price grid is:

Single top-up amount Price per credit (USD)
$10 – $49.99 $0.020
$50 – $199.99 $0.018
$200 – $499.99 $0.016
$500 – $1,499.99 $0.0145
$1,500 – $4,999.99 $0.013
$5,000 – $10,000 $0.012

The current grid is always shown on the pricing page and on the top-up page of your account.

2.2. The number of credits you receive is the top-up amount divided by the price per credit, rounded down to a whole credit. For example, a $50 top-up gives 2,777 credits. Each top-up is priced on its own: the amounts of separate top-ups are not added together.

2.3. The price is fixed at the moment of payment. It is not recalculated later if the grid changes.

2.4. The minimum single top-up is $10, the maximum is $10,000. For a larger amount, write to us.

2.5. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes (see section 6 of the Terms of Service).

2.6. Online payment is being connected. Until it is available, you top up by request: send a top-up request from your account, and we email you payment details within one business day. Credits are added to your balance after we receive the payment, normally within one business day.

3. Bonus credits

3.1. Bonus credits are credits we grant free of charge. On the date of this policy we grant:

  • 200 credits for sign-up — when you confirm your email address;
  • 300 credits for verifying your website — when you confirm a mailbox on the domain of your project. A domain earns this bonus only once, whoever verifies it;
  • 200 credits for linking the Telegram bot, where the bot is available — once per account and per Telegram chat;
  • 500 credits on request — once per account, after we review the request;
  • 500 credits to you and 500 credits to the person you invite — when that person signs up with your referral link and confirms their email address;
  • promotional bonuses that we offer from time to time, for example extra credits on a first top-up made within the period stated in the offer.

3.2. Without referral and promotional bonuses, one account can receive up to 1,000 bonus credits.

3.3. Bonuses are meant for new users and their own websites and are granted once per person. We may refuse, reduce or cancel a bonus where there are signs of duplicate accounts, self-referral or other abuse.

3.4. We may change the amounts and conditions of bonuses, or end a bonus program, for the future. Bonus credits already granted stay on your balance.

3.5. Bonus credits have no monetary value and are never refunded in money. They do not expire while your account exists.

4. Spending credits

4.1. Credits are charged when a run starts. The cost of a run is the sum of the costs of its checks — every prompt, on every selected engine, for every repeat — at the costs in effect at that moment. The total is shown in the confirmation window before the run starts. A run starts only if your balance covers its full cost.

4.2. A completed check is paid for even if the answer does not mention your brand: the absence of a mention is also a measurement result.

4.3. Credits never expire. They stay on your balance for as long as your account exists.

4.4. Bonus credits are spent first. Purchased credits are spent after them, in the order in which they were bought: earlier top-ups first.

5. Automatic return of credits

5.1. The credits for a check are returned to your balance automatically when:

  • the check failed for a technical reason, for example an error or a timeout on the side of the AI engine;
  • the engine was not available and returned no real answer;
  • the engine had no AI answer for the query — for example, Google showed no AI Overview. Such a check is marked “No AI answer for this query”.

5.2. The credits are returned when the run finishes. You do not need to ask for it; the return appears in your balance history. These checks are not counted in the metrics.

5.3. If you think a check was charged in error, write to support@brandometer.ai and we will review it.

6. Refund of unused purchased credits

6.1. You can give up your unused purchased credits at any time and ask for the money you paid for them. Send the request to support@brandometer.ai from the email address of your account.

6.2. Only credits that were purchased and have not been spent are refunded, at the price at which they were actually bought and in the order “first bought, first spent”. Bonus credits are not refunded and are not counted in the calculation.

6.3. Volume discount. If you ask for a refund of part of the credits bought with a volume discount, and the amount you keep paying for falls below the threshold of that discount, the credits you have spent are recalculated at the price that matches the remaining amount. The difference is deducted from the refund. If the remaining amount falls on the boundary between two tiers, the price that is more favorable to you applies.

Example

You top up $200 and receive 12,500 credits at $0.016. You spend 5,000 credits and ask for a refund of the other 7,500. At the price you paid, the credits you spent are worth $80 — less than the $200 needed for the $0.016 price. At $0.018, the price for top-ups from $50 to $199.99, they cost $90. The refund is $200 − $90 = $110.

6.4. We make the refund by the same payment method that you used, within 10 business days of receiving your request. If that method is no longer available, we will agree on another one with you. The refund is made in US dollars; exchange rate differences and the fees of your bank are outside our control.

6.5. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, described in section 7 of the Terms of Service. The recalculation in section 6.3 does not apply to such a withdrawal.

7. Account deletion, suspension and closure of the service

7.1. If you ask us to delete your account, unused purchased credits are refunded under section 6 and bonus credits are canceled.

7.2. If you breach the Terms of Service, including by attempts at automated abuse of the service, we may suspend operations on your balance until the matter is clarified.

7.3. If we discontinue the service, we refund your unused purchased credits at the price you paid, without the recalculation in section 6.3.

8. Changes and contact

8.1. We may change this policy by publishing a new version on this page. A new version applies to top-ups made after it is published.

8.2. Questions about credits and refunds: support@brandometer.ai.
